Clifton Benchrest Shooting Club invites you to the 2026 High School Benchrest Shooting Challenge.

The competition:

A 50 metre, 50 shot target shoot using .22 rifles

Sign in from 8am, Safety briefing at 8.25am

Competitor cost: $55 per person

This includes: admission, nomination fees, morning tea and lunch, ammunition, rifle hire, range hire and all insurances.

Adult supervision is required for all participants, there is no charge for supervisors but all in attendance must sign in with and show photo ID

Please note: Only 2 teams per school will be able to compete as we have limited numbers

Competitors must:

• Sign range register on arrival
• Hand in a completed and signed Form 33 and Indemnity Waiver
• Complete safety briefing at 8.25 am
• Produce current photo ID (school ID is accepted)
• Provide their own eye protection and wear enclosed shoes
• Only use provided club rifles and ammunition
• Follow all event and CBSC rules
• Follow all safety instructions from event staff and ROs on the day
• Acknowledge that failure to follow rules or safety instructions may result in the removal of you and your team from the event grounds

Indemnity waiver and Form 33

All participants must arrive with (or email before the event) the supplied indemnity waiver and Form 33 signed by their parent or legal guardian. We will not allow any individual to participate in this event without these documents.

Media consent

There is a likelihood that media organisations will be present during this event. By participating in the event you agree to you and your team members image being used in any form of media. Please discuss this with event staff on the day if you have any concerns relating to this matter.
